$40,000 Commercial Dishwasher Grant
Grant for California schools
The California Department of Education (CDE) has released that their Commercial Dishwasher Grant (CDG) application is now open and available for eligible local educational agencies (LEAs). If you're a public school district, county office of education, or direct-funded charter school participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP), you have the opportunity to apply for funding for up to five school sites.
Each eligible site may receive up to $40,000 per school site for up to five sites, with a maximum total award of $200,000, which can be used to support the purchase of an energy-efficient commercial dishwasher and cover installation cost. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your kitchen operations and promote sustainability in your school foodservice.
To apply, make sure to submit your online application by 5 pm Pacific Daylight Savings Time (PDST) on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Don't miss out on this chance to secure funding for your school sites!
